Steve was one of the co-founders of Vancouver Changecamp in 2008, and has been involved ever since and also helped the team that brought Changecamp to Victoria for the first time in 2013. Steve has over 20 years experience working at the intersection of technology and social change and now advises organizations on strategic Corporate Social Responsibility design, program evaluation, impact measurement and data visualization for sustainability. He’s a leader in the new field of Adaptive Information Design, ensuring that complex systems data is easy to understand, interact with and useful for making decisions and the President of Constructive Public Engagement.
Steve holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University, a Certificate in Community Economic Development from SFU and just completed the Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation program at University of Waterloo. In the fall of 2014 he will be starting his PhD at UBC working with Prof. John Robinson on the intersection of technology, complex systems, public engagement and social innovation.
Born in Montreal, Steve grew up in Toronto before making the move to the West Coast. Despite a few years of temptation living in London and Paris, Steve is back in Vancouver close to the mountains, the ocean and the forests. | email firstname.lastname@example.org | twitter @constructive
